Holy Week, also known as Passion Week, is the most important week in human history. According to God’s “definite plan and foreknowledge” (Acts 2:23), Jesus was delivered up for our sins on Good Friday and rose again for our justification on Resurrection Sunday. When he entered into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, he came to die. But he also came to be crowned the king of an upside-down kingdom. The best way to prepare our hearts to receive this Savior-King is to walk with him through Scripture on this holiest of weeks. We have prepared the following booklet for you to be used as guide for reading, prayer, and meditation. While the exact chronology of events (especially from Monday to Wednesday) is debated, these daily readings highlight key moments in the week of Christ’s Passion. Our prayer is that God will use his word to awaken in us a deeper appreciation for what Christ has accomplished in his death, burial, and resurrection.
