Engaging With God in His WordThe Engage Youth Group is devoted to helping teenagers engage with God in His Word. This is achieved through Weekly Bible Studies addressing relevant issues facing teens in our culture and Monthly Youth Services giving teens practical experience in leading a worship service, preparing special music, prayer, and public speaking; we invite youth emphasis guest speakers on an occasional basis. Monthly activities include paint balling, laser tag, tennis, bowling, target shooting, and hiking. Each year, we host an Annual Youth Retreat with devotional times and participate in local, regional, and national youth events such as Youth Discovery, Youth Challenge (Indiana), GMYC, and CPYC.
Missions trips (e.g. to Belize) allow teens to conduct Vacation Bible School, help with building projects, and help in services. |
